Française Spokane: Reviews & Ratings
Fabulous little French restaurant. Delightful server (Stevi) We had the Baked escargots - done to perfection. We shared the salade Nicoise and French onion soup. We had steak fries with the best ailing we've ever had! We topped off with pot de creme chocolate. I had mine with the creme brulee crackle top instead of sour cherries. Sooooo good. I forgot to take a picture before I started!
This was one of the rare moments I regret being single lol. There were so many options and their portions are generous, so sadly I couldn’t finish everything on my plate(s), though I tried. The croissant was unbelievably delicious—the outside was crisp and the inside was fluffy. Don’t pass up on the jam, it was also delicious. The omelette was flavorful and the added vegetables came with fresh mushrooms, green beans, and asparagus, all perfectly sautéed.
Amazing gem of a restaurant in the South Perry district. Incredible interior decor, very friendly staff. The service was quick and everything came out without much of a wait at all. The food was absolutely delicious, and these are some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. I am excited to go back and try something else on the menu. And yes, we did ask for the steak to be that rare.
Special shout out to Joey! Thank you for taking such good care of us. Excellent service, atmosphere, and dinner. We came here for our anniversary and left so full and happy. Highly recommend.
Step into Paris… without leaving Spokane. Française delivers true French bistro magic candlelight, classic technique, and dishes that make you slow down and savor every bite. Dress up or dress down everyone invited. Française A Perry Street Bistro 928 S Perry St What we ordered at Française: • Pain Maison warm bread with house butter and sea salt; simple, crunchy, crispy • French Onion Soup best of the best. Deep, rich broth, bubbling gruyère, absolutely flawless Would come here just for this alone. • Beet Salad earthy sweet beets, creamy accents, bright acidity, beautifully balanced • Poulet Rôti Crispy skin to die for. Shockingly good. It ate like one giant, perfect chicken wing in the best way possible. • Gimlet Française gin, lavender, lime, and elderflower liqueur; floral, lightly sweet, effortlessly elegant • French Press Martini creamy, lightly sweet, dessert-in-a-glass • Beignets warm, powdered, candle-worthy • Bread Pudding warm spice, caramel notes, coffee ice cream melting just right
Beautiful restaurant. Great music. Amazing food. We tried the 5 course meal and enjoyed it. We split it as a couple and the portions were so generous. The only thing I didn’t care for was the small side of potato mash that came with the pork chop. We loved everything else.
If Zeus himself came down from Olympus looking for a date night, he’d probably book a table at Française. My husband and I went here for our anniversary, and let me tell you—this wasn’t just dinner, this was an odyssey. We started with the clams, which were so good I half expected Poseidon to file a complaint. The bread? Let’s just say I’d join a French Revolution all over again if storming the Bastille meant getting another basket. Then came the steak frites—upgraded to truffle, of course, because what’s love without indulgence? Each bite was like being knighted by a potato-wielding monarch. My husband and I just kept grinning at each other like, “Is this what royalty eats on weeknights?” And the grand finale: not one, but two desserts. The owner himself, clearly some sort of benevolent dessert wizard, comped us both a crème brûlée and a bread pudding to share. Cracking through that brûlée’s sugar crust was like opening a treasure chest, while the bread pudding whispered sweet, buttery poetry to our souls. All in all, Française didn’t just feed us—it romanced us. If you go, prepare to fall in love twice: once with your date, and once with the food. Came as peasants, left as queens. The portion sizes are quite large in case partner doesn’t want fries, but just a couple off your plate.
I ordered the shirred eggs and my partner chose the breakfast croissant, and both were absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed a beautiful sparkling wine and fig cocktail that felt perfectly celebratory. The service was exceptional, the food was outstanding, and the whole experience was a delight. We will definitely be back!
